  • “I would certainly recommend staying at this apartment in Portland, ME! The location was perfect and a very short walk away from the many restaurants and breweries throughout the city. The apartment was spotless, in immaculate condition, and the perfect size for two guests. The rooftop deck was also a plus and fun to hang out on even in the cold weather. Dena and Lee were also very kind and responsive hosts throughout the entire experience. When I return to Portland, I hope to stay here again or at another listing offered by these two. I highly recommend this place!”

  • “ This condo is in an ideal location to access everything in downtown Portland. The space itself was perfect for our small group (and could definitely accommodate a bigger group) - comfy beds, spacious bathrooms, and plenty of entertaining space. The extras were thoughtful - like snacks & water, coffee, and even ear plugs (the club downstairs was loud until about 1 am on the weekend night, but the owner was transparent about that in the listing). We would 100% stay here again if it was available! All communication with the owner was great!”

  • “Stayed here with my parents, wife and kids for three nights. Enjoyed our stay quite a bit. Location is excellent- a quick scenic walk to the beach and stores. Lots of nearby eateries. Traffic is relatively quiet despite the central location. Bedroom and bathroom situations are well thought-out. Downstairs master bedroom is closed off enough to provide sufficient privacy. Kitchen was well equipped. House itself has quite a bit of authenticity and historic charm. Would certainly return!”

  • "The location of this property is fabulous. You are one street away from the beginning of the Marginal way and downtown Ogunquit with its shops and restaurants. Everything is walkable and you’ll love this when you see the constant line of traffic on rte 1 and downtown. The inside space was nicely decorated and clean. I loved the blinds that were quality and blocked out the light in the am. The terrace was nice too. The space is small but room is maximized with shelves, drawers and finally, hooks to hang up towels, jackets and hats. We used the toaster oven in the am for breakfast and then ate out for lunch and dinner. Leftovers went in the fridge for later. We didn’t miss a full kitchen. I would stay here again."

Marginal way, shops restaurants and the beach and just a short walk to Perkins Cove. Every detail has been thought of and sitting on the terrace was delightful. Beach Life Rents is a Southern Maine rental business. We started the company four years ago after previously owning a local RV Resort in Wells, ME. In addtion to the campground, we always had our hands in the rental business, after selling the campground we decided to commit to it full time. We are a large local family with many ties to Southern Maine, our family has grown up here for three generations. Our team is the reason we are moving with massive strides in our community, so let’s meet them!

    Hi! We are Lee and Jason, lifetime Maine residents who are so excited to share our beautiful state and city with you. We have both grown up in the tourism industry and have been business owners since 2004. We previously owned Sea-Vu West Premier RV Resort in Wells, ME. Since selling that business we wanted to invest in the Maine economy and with Lee’s history in rental management, we knew this was the way to go. We have two beautiful kids Jack and Olivia and our french bulldog Munch. Jack is working in the tourism and rental business industy in Maine and Olivia is getting her graphic design degree in California, which is also where we spend our winters. We have a love for travel, family, and exploring the great outdoors.

    Hello! My name is Jack , I provide the general maintenance for all of the properties. In addition to that, I also manage the Ogunquit property. A little bit about myself, I have lots hobbies and genuinely enjoy the outdoors. I surf, fish, ski, indoor rock climb and overall I love incorporating fitness into my daily routine. I graduated local out of Wells High School and have grown up in Southern Maine for most of my childhood. I am also a foodie so if you are ever wondering where to eat, I love to give recommendations. With that said, enjoy the beautiful area of Southern Maine.

    Hey I’m Dena! I am the rental property manager for Lee and Jason’s buildings in Portland. Lee and I have been friends forever since we had kids who grew up together in Wells, ME. Born and raised in Maine, spending time outside is one of my favorite things to do, from ocean sports to hiking, I do it all. My family is my pride and joy, my three children Cole, Bridget, Sarah and my newest granddaughter Everly. I come from the banking industry and have worked in the hospitality field forever but managing rental properties in my home state is my real dream job!
